About Me:

You probably know me as Iris V Fernandez! My parents were born in PR so that makes me "Nuyorican"! I put myself through nursing school with two young children. I am now a published author, after my thirty-five year career as a Registered Nurse. I retired in 2020, after fifteen years as a Nurse Informaticist, and now I spend my time writing, researching my genealogy, gardening, and 'veganizing' my traditional dishes. I am an advocate against domestic violence and supporter of animal welfare, support organizations like Break the Silence, The Sato Project,
